Raw Cashew Chocolate Fudge
Raw cacao is an amazing superfood! It is full of antioxidants and can help lower blood pressure. When mixed with my other favorite super food, coconut oil, this chocolate fudge is actually good for you! I added cashew butter to this recipe for added creaminess and it is amazing!!
1/4 cacao powder
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup almond flour
1 TBS maple syrup or honey
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
2 teaspoons cashew butter
sea salt for garnish
In a small saucepan, melt the coconut oil on a low heat, then whisk in cacao. Stir in vanilla, cinnamon, almond flour and 1 teaspoon of cashew butter. In a 7 by 3 inch pan, put down one layer of parchment paper and pour the cacao mixture in. Then, let sit in the freezer for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes take out of freezer and drizzle the remaining 2 teaspoons of cashew butter on top and garnish with a sprinkle of sea salt. Place back in freezer for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes take out of freezer, cut into pieces, and enjoy!
