Morning Matcha Latte
I have been a little obsessed with matcha lately, I love the flavor and the health benefits. Matcha is a powdered green tea and can help boost metabolism, is rich in fiber, can help boost mood, aid in concentration and is packed with antioxidants. If that doesn't make you want to drink matcha I don't know what will! This is the recipe I use for my morning matcha latte.
1 teaspoon matcha powder
1 cup milk of choice steamed
1/2 teaspoon coconut oil (optional)
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
Honey, maple syrup or agave to taste
You can use a blender or a traditional match whisk for this recipe. I use a whisk and dissolve the matcha in a tablespoon of water, mix well and then add all the other ingredients. If using a blender add everything into the blender and blend for about 1 minute, enjoy!
