Farro Sausage

I was inspired to make this recipe after I tried farro sausage on top of a delicious pizza with smoked almond ricotta at Double Zero on the lower east side. If you live in the New York area I highly recommend visiting Double Zero. This farro sausage can be served with marinated kale (as pictured), as a pizza topping or added to a hearty soup. It would be a great addition to your Thanksgiving meal.

1 8 once bag of farro cooked according to package instruction
1 tablespoon coconut oil
2 cloves crushed garlic
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp fennel seed
1 tsp ground sage
1 tablespoon Worcester sauce
1 tsp sea salt

Cook farro and set aside. In a saute pan heat oil and on a medium low heat add garlic and all the spices, let the spices slightly brown for 1 to 2 minutes. Add the farro to the saute pan and saute with the spices for one more minute. Enjoy!
