Beet Smoothie

Beets are one of my favorite veggie! Beets have a lot great health benefits they are anti-inflammatory, can help lower blood pressure,have anti-cancer properties and contain valuable nutrients and fiber. So why not have them for breakfast?? The addition of oats to this smoothie make it a satisfying breakfast on the go.

1 cup vanilla almond milk
1/2 cup frozen mango
1/2 cup shredded beets
1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup ice (optional)
1 or 2 teaspoons maple syrup ( depending on desired level of sweetness)
dash cinnamon


Place all ingredients in a high powered blender, blend until completely smooth. Enjoy!
